Parent–Child Groups for Children Born in 2023–2024
Registration opens on Thursday, March 26 at 12:00. You can register by clicking on the name of the group.
The parent–child group is designed for 2–3-year-olds (children born in 2023 and 2024), where children get to be active together with a familiar adult. The adult can be a parent, grandparent, godparent, sibling, cousin, or anyone who suits your family best! Children born in 2022 are also welcome to join if they still benefit from participating together with an adult.
The goal of the family group is to explore the joy of physical activity in a safe environment through a variety of games and playful exercises. In addition to having fun while being active, children will also learn how to interact with others and practice basic group skills. These groups are a great opportunity to meet other children of the same age in the city—and many families find long-term friends here.
Training sessions take place during weeks 22–32. The summer season will conclude with the Children’s Olympics on Thursday, August 13 at Kimpinen Sports Field.
NOTE! Location: The groups will start the season at Lauritsala Field. Once the renovation of Kimpinen Sports Field is completed, the Kimpinen groups will move there. According to current information, the move will take place in early July.
